Wow!  First full day of school can be overwhelming sometimes, but for the most part I think that the students have done rather well.  Everyone has seemed to be able to get to the correct classroom and have most of the materials that they need to be ready for class.   I do ask that you do review that class needs list and make sure that your student does have everything.  I also ask that we could get all the forms that we sent home signed and back to us before the weekend.   Not too many assignments for the day, but the load will pick up as we get farther into the year.

7th grade assignments-

• Pre-Algebra: None
• English: p. 357 1-20
• Life Science: Read section 1.1
• Civics:  Read section 1.1 

8th grade assignments-

• Pre-Algebra: None
• English:  Write introductory Paragraph on summer event
